World’s Scariest Shoes: Goodie 2 Shoes
In an attempt to be savvy, both on our pocket books and the environment, the ugliest concept shoes I’ve ever seen were recently designed by Natalie Cosette Thorne. And I’m not even joking.
Right now, they’re only black and gray, though later they plan to have more color options. The thing about the heels though, is they come with “adjustable” pieces that you can add to the shoe to make them uniquely yours. You can make the heel higher or shorter as you see fit, add straps or take straps away or make different kind of straps. The idea s that people won’t be able to tell it’s the same pair of shoes, and they can be worn for different occassions . Yeah, right.
The pieces are held together with strong magnets and a hinge.
Now, even though I don’t like them, there are some good things about them:
1. In a time when the economy isn’t the greatest, these will allow women to buy fewer pairs of shoes . (Assuming they’re purchased at all.)
2. One woman told me she thought they looked comfortable.
In any case, it should be interesting to see what happens with these. What do you guys think of them?
